Friday Morning at Tullys. Dry and not too cold. Mostly because I wore my new cute Cole Hahn rain boots and Iceberg black down jacket. Nothing like being prepared for a cold wet winter day to stay it. Can't quite get used to the new crowd of boys serving the coffee here. The girls were prettier and much better at it. Ah well, change...

New Sara Brightman and new Lost last night. So much new in a world of repeats. New fennel recipe too. A new day dawning...

Time for a refill a new habit that I will likely soon drop.

Almost finished with Andy Quan's Six Positions. Been an interesting arch. I was completely in love with the writing and the book at the beginning and then about 3/4s of the way through it felt OK but not so exciting. I am anxious to see how it ends and then settles in. Likely to get more of his writing but a little less urgent now than I was at the beginning when I found his work to have more affinity with mine and the prose of Aaron Shurin.

On an entirely superficial note I also wanted him to be prettier. While we all lose are charms in the end or even sooner the sex positive gay writers I admire never quite seem to be as hot as their writing would seem to suggest. Of course what readers I have no doubt feel the same way.

Supposed to be another rainy weekend and will probably be a quiet one hiding from the chaos and saving money in fear of impending disaster. Can't wait!
