A Cold Foggy Friday in February
The Chinese New Year began yesterday. A week earlier than last year (gotta love that lunar calendar). Year of the Earth Rat. Haven't yet dared to check how that looks for me but if Friday morning yoga turning to spinning (rats on wheel) is any indication it could be another year of living in "interesting times."
Personally I am liking the new semi-season of Lost. It seems to have recaptured the complicated mystery without slipping into super complex hard to follow or accept plot turns. Not so much that Eli Stone that follows. Yes for the SF setting and a little for some of the cast and concept but that weird composite San Francisco that doesn't quite exist (some actually shooting and then filling in of backgrounds). Maybe it will grow on me.
Been days and days of not writing sending emails and getting reconnected in avid pursuit of a new job. A bit like a diet or new exercise plan it is a painful start but slowing easing into a rhythm. Striking how much alike my two selves really are and how many abilities cross over when I let them. Perhaps I will find a way to be famous in one or the other or both lives.
Too cold in this darn Tullys to type. Time for a refill!
