After Xmas and New Years, both spent in a mostly snowy corner of Connecticut. A lovely winter wonderland vacation from my paying job and one from which I didn't want to return. But alas money must be made or the world would not go round and round. So here I am back in SF at my Tully's pushing the limit of lateness in arriving at my glamorous office to make money for my company and me.
No resolutions but some better intentions for 2008. Most to do with being more focused and diligent in my pursuits.
A happy start on the publishing front. "To Sex a Story" is to appear in 580 Split sometime later this year. More details to come but got the contract yesterday and will send that and my bio off this weekend.
Thinking of trying to do a zine of writing about or in relationship to New Narrative by writers who came after New Narrative, perhaps calling it New Narrative. I have recently been writing about Steve Abbott and think perhaps others have material that engages with the living and the dead of this truly San Franciscan writing movement. Again more details to come as I try to figure out how and who and what and all that.
